First Mission

The HC-27J Spartan is a key asset within the U.S. Coast Guard's medium-range surveillance aircraft fleet, complementing the HC-144 Ocean Sentry. Its mission is multi-faceted and primarily centered on maritime domain awareness and response. With a longer range and higher payload capacity than the HC-144, the HC-27J is a valuable platform for missions over larger expanses of ocean. Its capabilities are essential for conducting search and rescue operations, particularly in scenarios requiring the transport of specialized equipment or personnel to remote locations. The aircraft is also heavily utilized for drug and migrant interdiction, leveraging its endurance to patrol vast maritime zones for illegal activity. Furthermore, its rugged design allows it to operate from a variety of unprepared airfields, making it an excellent asset for disaster response and humanitarian aid, where it can deliver critical supplies to areas with limited infrastructure.

*Print care: Once you have received your new artwork, remove it from the tube and inspect for damage. Inform the studio immediately if there is damages to the print.. Unroll the print and set it face down in a clean dry place to allow the print to relax prior to framing. The paper is a very heavy duty watercolor art paper and it will need time to return to its flat state.
